The challenge
The team was watching uptime, error rates, and security events across separate tools. Nobody had a single view, so incidents were caught late — usually after a customer noticed first.
The approach
I consolidated logs and synthetic checks into Splunk, modeled the key signals, and built a single dashboard that combines availability, latency, error budgets, and security alerts. Threshold-based alerts notify the team the moment a metric drifts out of range.
The result
Incidents are now detected dramatically faster and triaged from one place. Instead of stitching together three tools during an outage, the team opens one dashboard and immediately sees what broke and where.
